Almost every day, we receive pleas from good samaritans who need
help assisting an animal they found or wanted to help but couldn't afford. Animal Matters is always happy to help
those who stretch their necks out for animals. Please enjoy the successful stories below. With your help,
we can continue to help others just like these cuties.

Miss Beans (now known as Granny Beans) was a foreclosure victim. Her family moved and wouldn't take her. She's thin and
has an open wound but she's in foster care where she's getting all of the lovins she deserves!

Grady was hit by a car & left to fend for himself until a good samaritan saved him from the street. His back leg was badly
hurt. He had two options: An expensive corrective surgery or amputation. Several hopeful people chipped in (including us) to make
sure he got the surgery he deserved. Here he is after the successful operation!

Emerson is a special guy who was rescued from a high kill shelter with a horrible case of both demodectic and sarcoptic mange. With help from
several good-hearted people, he's getting the treatment he deserves to be fully adoptable.

Minnie defintely had a guardian angel (or 2) looking out for her. Taken from a Miami shelter death row -- now in a wonderful home.

Sarah got very lucky when a group of kind-hearted people found out she was on death row at a Miami shelter. After a
intricate transportation chain was created, she's now safe in rescue in western Florida. We were happy to be involved.

Brooke was one lucky momma. She had 13 puppies on death row in a central Florida shelter and were all saved! Incredible.

Rocky and his brother were found by officers chained & abandoned. Their fate didn't look too good at Animal Services until a bunch of kind-hearted people
stepped up to get them out!

This caring momma was rescued from death row just in time to deliver her five babies (see one of them to the right). They're all looking for good homes but they're safe.

Scooby was fostered by Animal Matters after being at a no-kill shelter for over 6 years! He still needs a home but is in a rescue environment that can give him personal attention.

Rosco found himself on Orlando, Florida's death row but luckily a local rescue took him on board (with a little help from Animal Matters). He still needs a home but he's safe!

With Animal Matter's help, a local group got Oreo off of death row. He's looking for his permanent abode but he's safe in the interim.

A big Pitbull like Kane rarely makes it off of death row alive...he's one lucky boy. AM was happy to pitch in to help get him out of the needle's way. He's free but needs a home.

Oreo is a little girl we helped with medical procedures. She's now adopted!

This little guy was literally a bag of bones when found. His owners left him abandoned on a terrace when they moved. We were happy to pay for "Bones" to get neutered & vetted so he is a healthy, happy boy just waiting for a new home.

China was rescued from some pretty shady characters. We were able to pay for her spaying & other medical needs. She's
all set for a new home.

When a woman emailed us about needing financial helping boarding Zeus here, we chipped in. He was
rescued from the streets, vetted & found a new home!

Rocky is a beautiful boy who had a "cherry eye." Our organization made a donation towards his surgery. Wonderful boy.

Teddy Bear made it out of a kill shelter just in time. Animal Matters was able to help with his
release & has happily supported some of his heartworm treatment. Now, he just needs a home to call his own.

Sunny made it out of a high kill shelter by the skin of her teeth! She's now in a wonderful rescue organization waiting for a permanent, loving home. We were proud to take part in her rescue.

April's luck really turned around when a rescuer was walking along death row at a south FL shelter & saw her. Starving, pregnant April was saved! She's
ready for a loving home. Watch out -- she's a kisser!

Kitcel needed temporary shelter when she and her dad were thrown out of their apartment. The homeless shelter wouldn't take her but when her
dad finds a new home, they'll be reunited. Animal rescue is often human rescue too.

Laura, the sick American Bulldog rescued from Miami-Dade Animal Services, needed help with meds to treat her Irritable Bowel Disease. We were happy to help!

swept away in the nick of time.
