Meet the Lucky Ones We've Had the Pleasure of Helping!
Almost every day, we receive pleas from good samaritans who need
help assisting an animal they found or wanted to help but couldn't afford. Animal Matters is always happy to help
those who stretch their necks out for animals. Please enjoy the successful stories below. With your help,
we can continue to help others just like these cuties.
And we will always remember Beck. Rest in peace little guy!

Bravo is still waiting for a home. Our cute little tripod boy had been sitting on death row for 10 days at a shelter
after being hit by a car. Just before his time was up, we took him. Our vet had to amputate his leg. But don't tell him that --
he's running around faster than a 4-legged pooch.
|

And see Bravo today!!
|
And we can't forget Boscoe!

Sweetie was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Florida's panhandle. Our volunteer called to rescue her just as she was being walked
to her death. What timing, huh? Great people got her down to south Florida and now she lives with a wonderful
guy in Delray Beach. Now, that's sweet!
|

Oh Bandit boy. So happy he's now living permanently with his former foster mom. He was dumped at the Orlando, Florida
shelter by a family for no apparent reason. The staff didn't want to euthanize him so we pulled him & the
rest is history. He's being pampered by a wonderful woman in south Florida.
|

Who could refuse "Smiley" boy? We couldn't -- that's for sure. We were able to help another rescue group
pull him off of death row just in time. We're the ones smiling now. Please always adopt!
|

Prince (black & white) is really enjoying his new life. Thinking back to when we first heard about him tied to a tree with no shelter for many, many months. Wow,
so glad we cut him loose and brought him into our rescue network. He lounges around with his new sibling & parents. Just the
way his life should be!
|

"Bruce" was found wandering the streets by a good samartin. Finally, it was Bruce's lucky day. We had him neutered and completely vetted. It turns
out, he had massive ear infections & his foot pads were worn down pretty badly (probably was kept in a concrete run). His great escape
saved his life. He's now in a safe foster home. Ahhh...happy story. We like these!
|

Bella (right) was rescued within just moments of being put to sleep at an Orlando, Florida shelter.
We were able to pull her off of death row, get her into a foster home & then find her a loving home. She now
lives with Jake (left) who was also rescued from a terrible predicament. They're buddies who winter in south Florida
& hang out on a farm in West Virginia during the summers. Must be nice!
|

This beautiful girl made it out of the shelter with just minutes to spare! Because she needed heartworm treatment
and the shelter was bulging at the seams with dogs, her time was up. Thankfully, we got together with our rescuers &
moved her to a safe place to start her treatment and the rest of her life.
|

Xena (far right), is in a home with a gentleman who loves her (& her siblings) but couldn't afford to have her spayed. We believe in this
procedure so much that we helped him with low cost altering. She's doing great.
